“The commercial structure in Tachiwaka, Japan, has a QR code designed on its outside panels allowing cell phone users to take a photo of the 2D barcode and be directed to the building’s website. But what’s more is that with an additional app, users can now aim their camera towards the building and be greeted with an augmented reality layer over the structure, showing a more interactive display of the building’s stores, their sales and promotions. You can even read streaming tweets from within the building!”
